About Ikigai
A reason for being,
room by room.
Ikigai (生き甲斐) is the Japanese concept for the quiet intersection of what you love, what you do well, what the world needs from you, and what your day gently rewards. We believe the home is the first place that intersection is felt.

Our Philosophy
Beyond decluttering — a practice of intention.
Most homes are not messy. They are simply carrying the residue of every season, every past self, every "I might need this one day." Our work begins not with bins and baskets, but with a single question: what does the next chapter of this home want to feel like?
From that answer we edit with wabi-sabi patience — honouring what stays, blessing what leaves — then design systems and rituals that gently sustain the calm. We work slowly enough to be beautiful, and precisely enough to be lasting.
We serve homeowners, families, downsizers, expats, busy professionals, and NDIS participants alike. Every home is met with the same discretion, warmth, and premium standard of care.
The Founder
Where the practice began.
Ikigai began quietly — a personal search for order after a season of change. What started as a Sunday ritual became a calling: to help other homes find the same clarity, tenderness, and quiet purpose.
Today, our small practice serves homes across Sydney and Greater NSW — from the Eastern Suburbs to the Inner West, the North Shore and the Northern Beaches — with home resets, whole-home transformations, virtual organising Australia-wide, and specialised NDIS household support, always held with the same careful hands.
